Hall Road Rangers have confirmed this afternoon the appointment of Bill Gill as their new first team manager, following the departure of Dave Ricardo earlier this month.
Gill, who had previously been Ricardo’s assistant throughout the past 18 months, took over as caretaker boss when the club announced they had parted company with their promotion winning manager.

In an official club statement, chairman Darren Sunley said: “”The club are extremely pleased to announce that Bill Gill will take over as first team manager with immediate effect.
“Bill has always put 100% effort in and understands the ethos of the club and where we want to go.
“He also has great experience, and has already shown his dedication to the club, and I personally want Bill to grow with the club as we move forward, which is the reason we are investing in his next coaching level through the UEFA A licence.
“The team are also fully behind him and that shows the respect he has gained from them since joining the club.”
Gill will take charge of his first game as head coach this weekend as Rangers travel to Bottesford Town in the NCEL Premier Division.
