Razor Returns – Hull FC vs Huddersfield Giants Preview. 

For Jordan Rankin, the statement “once a black and white always a black and white” rings very true. The back rower tonight makes his first appearance at the KCOM not in a black and white shirt, when he and his Huddersfield Giants teammates come to town. 

Since the 48-8 win for FC over the Giants earlier in the season, the West Yorkshire outfit have started to hit some form. With only one loss in their last 7, the Giants are coming into the game and into the Super 8s with great confidence. More confidence than Hull FC who have, after winning 4 on the bounce, lost 3 games in a row which they really should have won. So although both have already qualified for the Super 8s, it is still a very important match for both sides. 

In those 3 losses, Hull have been the masters of their own downfall. The first loss at Castleford was a game that Hull should’ve won, and would’ve won if it wasn’t for some wayward passing and general silly mistakes. The same could be said for the other losses at St Helens and Leeds. 

Tonight is the perfect opportunity to get back to winning ways and get the nervy KCOM crowd back on their side as the push for a Grand Final place continues.
