Preview: Hull Kingston Rovers vs Toulouse Olympique

Today is procession day for the Kingstone Press Championship winners Hull KR, with the trophy to be presented at the end of the game. Although they have done what was needed in the league, now is where the real hard work starts in preparations for the Middle 8s.

Rovers play their final game of the regular season in front of their loyal supporters at home to Toulouse. Even though Rovers are home and hosed, today is still a must-win game for the French Outfit. After their defeat to Halifax last week, Toulouse must win today and hope Featherstone beat Halifax in order to finish in the top 4 and give themselves a chance of reaching the promise land of the Super League.

Toulouse are the only team to beat the Robins this season on Easter Monday after Tim Sheens sent a very young side in preparation for the upcoming games in the Challenge Cup. So for this reason, Sheens will want to serve revenge to Toulouse.

As for Rovers’ squad, Mitch Clark gives way, being replaced with Josh Johnson, with Adam Quinlan making a welcome return after a long 3 month lay off.
