15:40 – That concludes FanaticHull’s coverage of Kyle Edmund. Join us tonight as Hall Road Rangers take on North Ferriby United at Haworth Park.
15:38 – Pundits evaluate Edmund
Henman: “I want to see more from Kyle and that’s a reflection because I think he’s a very good player.
“There are still areas that he can add to his game. He’s got such a big forehand but if he can look to move forward and finish the point at the net, then that will give him an extra dimension and put doubt into his opponent.
“He needs to express himself better and I think that will help with his overall belief.”
Becker: “Kyle needs to sort out his coaching situation and get a coaching team around him. There are weaknesses to his game but he’s only 22. He’s a great guy, a fighter and a competitor but he needs to improve the quality of his game.”
15:26 – Monfils reacts to win

13:04pm – Boris has his say
Boris Becker, a former Wimbledon champion has also had his say on the East Yorkshire star.
“Edmund’s game is suited to grass. He has a big forearm and a big serve. You don’t have time to run around on grass so his return has to be good – that’s something he needs to work on.”
13:02pm – Henman praise
Former British number one Tim Henman on Edmund: “I think he can become a much better player, and in rankings I think he’s got the potential to get into the top ten. He’s done very well. He looks to improve, he has a good attitude and he works hard. The key for him is to make that next big step. The higher you go though on that ladder the harder it is. He had a good first win at Wimbledon though.”
