The Year of the Tigresses.

Hull City Ladies are one of the City of Hull’s 2017 success stories. The squad of winners and grinner’s superbly managed by Rachel Gay, expertly coached by Danny Johnson and magnificently supported by a growing band of loyal, loud and sporting fans.

The Ladies have narrowly missed out on promotion to the FA Womens Premier League Northern division but can secure a magnificent 2nd placed finish with a win over Mossley Hill Ladies (kick off 2pm @ University of Hull).

Only Guiseley Vixens a team who came down to Northern Division 1 this season and run with a significant playing budget will finish above Gay’s side which shows how well they have done this year. The Tigresses have pushed Guiseley all the way, only a couple of wayward results at the back end of the season seen the title land in West Yorkshire.

Despite not securing promotion the Tigresses (pictured above) have tasted success this year, defeating Mill Lane Ladies, 2-0 in the ERCFA senior women’s final. Read all about the game in this weeks issue of FanaticHull fanzine.

With every successful side, the management are always on the look out for new quality players to enhance and improve year on year and with this in mind the club are holding open trails in June for the open age side (see picture).

But with every successful team, coaching and team work start at an early age, and through the successful Player Development Centre (PDC) the Tigresses run coaching classes for all ages, so if you’ve got a budding Katie Thompson, Jo Symington, Rachael Cooke or Amy Halloran in your family, check out the latest girls only half-term football camp and let the Tigeress cubs ROAR!!!
